Local cheeses are well known and exported outside Tinos. The Tinian Tyraki (Volaki or Sklavotyri) in a spherical shape, fresh milk, traditional yoghurt and butter, Tinos Graviera (yellow cheese), Kopanisti (Soft cheese), Myzithra cheese and Petroma are notable products of Tinos.
Tinos offers the ideal conditions for the natural growth of thyme shrubs, hence the production of thyme honey of exceptional quality.
